For me it takes 1-3 retries, until the actual download starts due to Debriditalia's crappy download server system - sometimes the server doesn't reply and that's why you see the "Download fehlgeschlagen" error.

Please set your setting like here:
Then start your download and wait a few seconds - you can watch the log - it may fail a few times with that error, but usually after 1-3 retries it will work.
